• Certificate in any discipline or Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a production-related field, preferably in the electrical industry.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Strong ability in production planning and scheduling.

• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Mandarin-speaking candidates are required to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

• Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.

• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.

Production Planning & Coordination

• Execute daily and weekly production plans for switchboard assembly.

• Allocate manpower, materials and tools efficiently to meet production targets.

• Monitor production progress against schedules and report any deviations.

Assembly & Quality Control

• Supervise the assembly of LV/MV switchboards, busbars, wiring and components according to drawings and specifications.

• Ensure adherence to IEC, ANSI or applicable local electrical standards.

• Conduct in-process inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve defects.

Team Supervision & Training

• Lead and guide assembly technicians, wiremen and helpers.

• Provide on-the-job training to new hires on assembly techniques and safety protocols.

Materials & Inventory Management

• Check the availability of components, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays and copper busbars, before starting production.

• Liaise with the store and warehouse teams to ensure timely material supply.

Process Improvement

• Suggest and implement improvements to increase productivity, improve ergonomics and reduce waste.

• Participate in lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.

Reporting

• Prepare daily production reports covering output, downtime and material usage.

• Highlight issues affecting production schedules and delivery timelines.
