• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and respond effectively to instrumentation breakdowns.

• Familiar with industrial plant maintenance and process control environments.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment, chemical processing plant, steel mill, or other related heavy/process industries.

• Hands-on experience in instrumentation installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

The successful candidate should:

• Possess strong knowledge of various types of process instrumentation used for monitoring and control.

• Be familiar with instrument specifications, operating principles, functions, calibration methods, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Provide technical support to users in resolving instrumentation-related issues.

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of field instruments.

• Troubleshoot communication and signal-loop issues between field instruments, PLC systems, I/O modules, and control systems.

• Diagnose instrumentation faults and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Support improvement activities to enhance instrument reliability, accuracy, and overall process performance.

• Possess basic knowledge of PLC and process control systems; candidates with practical PLC troubleshooting experience will have an added advantage.
