岗位职责
The Manufacturing Program Manager leads cross-functional teams to drive the end-to-end execution of complex manufacturing programs—from concept, design, and New Product Introduction (NPI), through mass production launch and end-of-life (EOL). This role serves as the central hub connecting customer requirements with internal engineering, supply chain, EHS, production, and quality teams. The Program Manager ensures all project deliverables strictly meet timeline schedule milestones, financial cost targets, quality standards, and regulatory/labor compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RBA VAP standards).
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. End-to-End Program Leadership & NPI Execution
Lead multi-disciplinary product launch teams through Phase-Gate / NPI frameworks (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT, and Mass Production).
Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients or internal product business units regarding program status, risk mitigation, and technical trade-offs.
Establish baseline project charters, master schedules, resource allocation plans, and Critical Path timelines.
2. Operations & Supply Chain Integration
Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to track long-lead component sourcing, supplier readiness, tooling qualification, and bill of materials (BOM) cost rollups.
Work with Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to oversee line layout setup, capacity planning, cycle time optimization, and ramp-up readiness.
Manage Program Change Notifications (PCN) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), assessing schedule and cost impacts prior to implementation.
3. Financial & Budgetary Governance
Own the financial management of the program, including Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) charges, tooling budgets, capital expenditures (CapEx), and unit gross margins.
Identify yield loss issues, scrap risks, and engineering labor overruns; implement corrective actions to protect product profitability.
4. Compliance, Quality & Workplace Standards
Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), PPAP, and customer yield targets are met.
Ensure program ramp-up and labor scheduling comply with factory EHS risk assessments, local labor laws, and RBA Code of Conduct requirements (e.g., working hour caps, safe line allocation for young workers/interns).
