Academic Qualification

• Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other related industries

Work Experience

• At least 6 years of working experience in Supply Chain with supervisory experience

• Experience in WMS Management Technical and Professional Knowledge

• To supervise and guide subordinates on best practices

• Sourcing of suppliers and compare to obtain best pricing

• Keep informed on latest product pricing in the market to ensure competitive price

Order Processing, Negotiation, MRP 

• Latest product price check and price negotiation 

• Issuance of purchase orders (PO) 

• Follow up on Proforma Invoice /Order accuracy and order delivery status  

• Follow up on payment status when required  

• Update monthly shipment & payment terms list  

• Monitor raw material market trend  

• Generate and review PO suggestion 

Shipment arrangement 

• Follow up on shipping documents and Form E (China) or permit 

• Confirm Duty /SST and payment  

• Keep track of vessel arrival status  

• Prepare Shipment Arrival Notice and arrangement of container  

• Check forwarder invoice when required  

• Update receipt entry for non-stock inventory or office-related inventory  

Requests to Quote (RFQ) and Sourcing of New Supplier 

• New supplier sourcing, alternative product or material sourcing   

• Review product specifications 

• Follow up on quotations and request for sample 

• Request for QA verification of new sample or sample product from new suppliers 

• Product price comparison 

Reject and Replacement  

• Obtain QA notification about defective cases 

• Update supplier on defects issues  

• Follow up for replacements or credit note  

Epicor Master Data Maintenance  

• Setup data for new product / material  

• Maintain supplier price list up to date including info and etc 

General  

• Attend to sales requests and enquiries (sample, datasheet, technical specs, etc) 

• Provide product drawings or product catalog 

Compliance and Others  

• Arrange for equipment calibration as per request  

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purpose  

• Participate in stock count activities 

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time
