What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong sense of ownership.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at gathering information from diverse sources.

• Good communication skills for effective coordination with external accountants and internal stakeholders.

• Availability to work full-time on-site in Mutiara Damansara for a minimum of 3 months internship period.

• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and Microsoft Excel; prior internship experience or exposure to accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Comfort and willingness to utilize AI tools as part of daily work.

Key Responsibilities

FY2026 Accounting & Audit Preparation

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s accounts and financial records.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and our outsourced accounting firm.

• Proactively identify, gather, compile, and organize all necessary documents, statements, and supporting schedules from various internal and external sources.

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentation required for financial statement preparation and the external audit.

• Support the timely completion of the FY2026 accounting and audit processes.

Process Improvement & Systems (for FY2027)

• Assist with the migration to a new accounting software platform.

• Help establish integrations between the new accounting system and other existing cloud tools and software.

• Collaborate with outsourced accountants and the internal team to design and document streamlined process flows for daily accounting operations.

• Set up and implement AI-powered automation to compile documents from emails and web portals, then automatically prepare and send them to accountants, reducing manual work.
