Growing technology company building operations software for the automotive and mobility sector, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with their Software Architect & Technical Lead.

This is a hands-on role. You'll design, build, test, deploy and maintain production software that runs real-world operations, not just tickets and CRUD screens.

What you'll work on

• End-to-end features across frontend, backend, database and APIs
• Complex workflows: state transitions, approvals, validations and business rules
• Integrations with government systems, banks, payment providers and third-party APIs, including webhooks, retries and data consistency
• PostgreSQL schema design and performance tuning with Prisma
• Dockerised deployments, monitoring and production troubleshooting on Linux
• Shaping reusable engineering patterns across future SaaS products, and mentoring junior developers

What you'll bring

• 5+ years building production web applications
• Strong TypeScript, React and Next.js (App Router)
• Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes, migrations, query performance
• Backend APIs, authentication, authorisation and RBAC
• Docker and solid Linux skills
• Experience with third-party integrations and workflow-heavy business software
• Ownership of features from requirements through to production
• Bonus: hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex), with the judgment to review and own the output

Nice to have: Azure, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, mobile development, WordPress, CI/CD, observability
