PLDT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

In November 2011, Celcom Axiata Berhad, the first and foremost mobile telecommunications provider in Malaysia, and PLDT Global Corporation (PGC), the International Marketing, Sales and Operating arm of the PLDT Group of Companies, entered a Shareholders’ Agreement and established a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) to offer mobile prepaid services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).

The MVNO, named PLDT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PLDT MY) marked Celcom's fifth collaboration in the MVNO business. PLDT Malaysia now offers mobile prepaid services under the brand name SMART Pinoy
