Kao Asia Industrial Ltd.

Kao Asia Industrial Ltd. was established in April, 1980.

Even since its establishment, Kao Asia had been agents for selling a number of international renowned brands of printing, packaging and book-binding machinery, for example, Hantscho web-offset presses (U.S.A.), KOLBUS book binding machines (Germany), Bobst packaging machines (Switzerland), Schneider guillotines (Germany), MBO folding machines (Germany) and M.A.N.-Roland sheet-fed offset presses (Germany).

Because of the outstanding achievement, the machinery manufacturers had appointed Kao Asia to be their sole agents to sell their machinery into markets of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong etc. Business for the company had started to develop from here.

Kao Asia developed its business at a quick pace. Good reputation has been built up in China as well as in overseas markets. KOLBUS bookbindery machinery manufacturer in Germany had high appraisal on Kao Asia , and in June 1991 appointed Kao Asia to be sole agents for further markets – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei, on top of Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. Furthermore, in September 1998 KOLBUS has acquired interest of the company and become the major shareholder of Kao Asia Industrial Ltd.

 

Kao Asia group is selling bookbinding & print finishing machines and packaging equipment from world-famous manufactures : Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG, Emmeci S.p.A., H.C.MOOG GmbH & Carlo Gasperini. The Group.is now employing 40+ staff, working in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.
