1. SALES TARGET: YEARLY RM25MIL (RM6.25MIL QUARTERLY)

The Sales Director is accountable for an annual sales target of RM25 million, phased at RM6.25 million per quarter. This target is made up of two revenue streams:

Internal Product and Services — sales from Abyres' own solutions and services across the three solution pillars (Next-Gen Computing, Cyber Security, and Data & AI).
3rd Party Product and Services — sales from reselling and implementing principal and partner technologies and services through Abyres' ecosystem relationships.

2. POSITION PURPOSE

The Sales Director holds end-to-end accountability for Abyres’ sales performance. The role assumes leadership of an established sales team and is mandated to convert it from an activity-driven group into a disciplined, forecast-accurate, quota-carrying commercial engine.

This is a leadership role, not a senior individual-contributor role. While the Sales Director will personally lead selected strategic pursuits and hold executive relationships at key accounts, the primary measure of success is the aggregate performance of the team, the health and predictability of the pipeline, and the growth of Abyres’ footprint across all three solution pillars.

The role is expected to operate with commercial independence within an agreed framework, escalating only matters that exceed defined authority limits, and to give the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Executive Officer a reliable, evidence-based view of the business always.

3. JOB SCOPE — KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Own and deliver the annual and quarterly sales target across the full Abyres portfolio, translating it into team, account and individual quotas.
Lead, coach and grow the existing sales team into a disciplined, forecast-accurate, quota-carrying unit.
Define and execute go-to-market and account strategy, driving cross-sell, up-sell and new market expansion across all three solution pillars.
Maintain pipeline integrity, forecasting discipline and accurate CRM reporting.
Personally lead strategic deals, major bids and key client negotiations.
Manage relationships with technology principals, partners and the wider ecosystem to maximise joint opportunities.
Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Delivery, Finance and Product to ensure every deal is deliverable and profitable.
Maintain market and competitor intelligence and ensure commercial and compliance governance.

4. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Minimum ten (10) years of B2B technology sales experience, of which at least five (5) years must be in a sales leadership role managing a quota-carrying team.
Demonstrable and verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets at team level — candidates should be prepared to present actual numbers.
Proven experience selling enterprise IT solutions and services — infrastructure, cyber security, data and analytics, or cloud — with an understanding of solution and consultative selling.
Direct experience selling into Malaysian government agencies, GLCs and large enterprises, including familiarity with public sector tender and procurement processes.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of six to eighteen months and deal values in the multi-million-ringgit range.
Strong command of CRM-based pipeline management and the ability to produce a defensible forecast.
Established C-level network across the target sectors.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, added advantage (other languages).

The salary range is RM10-12K monthly, with a yearly commission of RM60k-120k.

Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month

Benefits:
