Independent Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to think independently, solve hardware issues in the lab, and proactively learn new robotics technologies.
Develop station-level integration across the programme's automation processes — interfacing robots, sensors, PLCs, and vision systems into a common, standards-aligned framework.
This is a start up-style role with broad ownership across AI development, data collection, robot integration, testing, failure analysis, and continuous performance improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across disciplines and taking ideas from early experimentation through to real-robot deployment.
We are looking for a hands-on Embodied AI Engineer with experience in robot learning to develop, fine-tune, deploy, and validate intelligent behaviors on physical humanoid robots.
Mission Autonomy: Learning of behaviours for a single robot or a multi-robot team/swarm to achieve a given task, decentralized task allocation, planning and scheduling.
Technology transfer & support: Act as the technical subject matter expert for the assigned platform. You will work closely with technology partners to acquire technical knowledge, ensuring PSA can maintain, troubleshoot, and iterate on the technology over a longer term.
Design the on-board fluid system: clean water tank, detergent tank, and dirty water tank, including pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, level sensing, and quick-fill / quick-drain interfaces
This internship provides exposure to the full development pipeline, including data collection, model training, robot integration, simulation, real-world testing, and failure analysis.
We are looking for a hands-on Embodied AI Engineer with an interest in robot learning and humanoid robotics. You will support the development, fine-tuning, deployment, and validation of intelligent behaviors on physical humanoid robots.
