The Electrical Lead Engineer is responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering activities for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas projects during conceptual, FEED, detailed design, construction support, and commissioning phases. The role includes technical leadership, project coordination, design review, and ensuring all electrical deliverables comply with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
The Electrical Lead Engineer shall oversee the development of electrical system designs including power generation and distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgears, motor control centers, UPS systems, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, hazardous area classification, and electrical equipment selection for Oil & Gas facilities.
The position is also responsible for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and construction personnel to ensure smooth project execution, technical integrity, schedule compliance, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
