About the role

You are the commercial front of the business. Two things sit with you: every event enquiry that comes in, and the growth of our retail partner network. On the events side, you turn enquiries into confirmed bookings — responding fast, understanding what the client wants, proposing the right package, and closing. On the retail side, you find and open new freezer partners and outlets, and keep those relationships warm so they grow.

This is a role for someone who likes talking to people, enjoys the chase of turning a "maybe" into a "yes", and wants their income to reflect their results.

What you'll do:
Event sales (inbound)

Respond to all incoming event enquiries — weddings, corporate, brand activations — promptly and professionally
Understand the client's needs and propose the right station package, quantities, and add-ons
Prepare quotations and proposals; follow up until the booking is confirmed or closed
Hand confirmed events over to the operations team with a complete, accurate brief
Upsell where it fits: additional flavours, station upgrades, extended service

Retail partner prospecting (outbound)

Identify and shortlist potential retail partners — cafés, convenience outlets, grocers, co-working spaces, and similar freezer-door locations
Reach out, pitch, and arrange meetings; present our product proposition
Support negotiation of placement terms alongside management
Onboard new partners and hand them to the operations team for stocking
Maintain relationships with existing partners and grow their order volume

Pipeline & reporting

Keep the CRM accurate: every enquiry, every lead, every follow-up date
Report weekly on enquiries received, conversion rate, bookings value, and new partner pipeline
Track lost enquiries and why, so we can improve the offer

What we're looking for:

Must have

Confident communicator in Bahasa Malaysia and English, spoken and written
Comfortable with phone, WhatsApp, and face-to-face selling
Organised — you never lose an enquiry or forget a follow-up
Self-motivated and results-driven; you want commission, not just a salary
Own transport for partner meetings

Nice to have

Experience in F&B sales, event sales, FMCG business development, or retail account management
Existing network in weddings, events, or retail
Comfortable with CRM tools and spreadsheets

The kind of person who does well here

Persistent without being pushy — follows up until there's an answer
Reads people well and adapts the pitch to who's in front of them
Treats every enquiry like it matters, because it does
Wants to be measured on outcomes
