Role Description The Automation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation and control systems to support beverage production processes. Daily activities include troubleshooting automation and electrical issues, optimizing process control parameters, and ensuring stable, efficient operation of machinery and robotics. The Automation Engineer collaborates closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves documenting technical solutions, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and providing training and support to operational staff on automated systems.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control to design, implement, and optimize control systems.
  • Candidates should possess practical skills in Electrical Engineering and Troubleshooting for diagnosing and resolving equipment and system issues.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Robotics and automation technologies used in manufacturing environments.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or beverage industry environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, PLC/SCADA configurations, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting.
