Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time role. The individual in this role will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their financial needs and recommend suitable insurance and protection solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting policy options, preparing and processing applications, managing policy renewals, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. The agent will provide ongoing customer support, handle inquiries and claims-related questions, and maintain strong relationships through regular follow-ups and reviews. The role also involves staying informed about product updates, market trends, and company guidelines to deliver reliable, informed advice.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform Insurance Sales, including prospecting, needs analysis, and closing, with a focus on ethical and customer-centric practices.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage processes, including policy structures, coverage options, and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Finance, such as budgeting, protection planning, and the role of insurance within overall financial planning.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and handling inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Relevant insurance licensing or certification as required by local regulations; prior experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Klang, manage a client portfolio, and maintain organized records and follow-ups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a commitment to placing customers’ interests at the center of recommendations.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools for client management and documentation; multilingual abilities are a plus.
