Database Specialist (5 days work, over $60K)

• To provide IT advice and support on the database design and configuration for the system implementation of AUTOS and ICONS

• To provide IT advice on the database tuning, SQL optimization, system performance enhancement of AUTOS and ICONS

• To supervise and provide technical advice on the System Integration Tests (SITs) and User Acceptance Tests (UATs) of system enhancement

• To perform diagnosis with the contractors on technical issues and monitor the progress of remedy actions

• To review project deliverables and monitor the performance of the contractors of AUTOS and ICONS

• To perform other duties required for meeting the department's business need.

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects

• At least 4 years' experience in IT industry

• Solid experience in implementation and administration of database system for mission critical systems

• Solid experience in database performance tuning and SQL query tuning

• Good Knowledge in SQL and IBM Db2 administration
