About Audax

audax means courage. To have the courage to change the banking scene, eliminating constraints caused by existing legacy infrastructure. Our mission is to empower banks and financial institutions to scale and modernise at speed, reaching new customers without breaking the bank.

We began our journey supplying services to and powering Standard Chartered’s white-label plug and play Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution, Standard Chartered nexus, through our technology capabilities. At audax, we seek go-getters who are hungry for growth and can bring fresh perspectives.

audax is seeking a Senior Associate, HR Business Partner to own end-to-end delivery of core compensation, benefits, and Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) administration, while supporting HR governance documentation and HR operations activities. This role executes and maintains defined people processes with accuracy and consistency — coordinating closely with employees, managers, payroll, and vendors — and escalates complex or non-standard matters to senior HR stakeholders. It suits an HR professional who wants to build deep

process ownership and rewards/ESOP administration expertise in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Who You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end administration of compensation, benefits, and rewards processes (e.g., benchmarking data collection, benefits enrolment, remuneration-review support), ensuring timelines, documentation, and approvals are completed accurately.
  • Administer ESOP processes, including grant documentation, vesting tracking, exercise processing, and employee record-keeping, escalating non-standard cases to the HR Manager.
  • Support monthly payroll inputs and annual compensation cycle activities, ensuring data accuracy and on-time submission.
  • Maintain HR governance documentation — policy trackers, employee handbook updates, and compliance checklists — under guidance from senior HR stakeholders.
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration tasks, partnering with HRIS, payroll, and vendors to keep processes on track.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, trackers, and reporting across compensation, benefits, ESOP, and HR operations scope.
  • Resolve standard process issues and exceptions within scope, escalating complex or ambiguous matters with clear context.
  • Support process, template, and system improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in HR operations and
  • rewards administration.
  • Respond to routine employee and manager queries on compensation, benefits, ESOPs, and HR policy, referring complex advisory matters to senior HR Business Partners.

Who You Are

  • 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, with meaningful exposure to compensation & benefits, HR operations, or HR business partnering.
  • Experience administering (not necessarily designing) compensation, benefits, or ESOP/equity programs.
  • Working knowledge of compensation benchmarking, benefits administration, and rewards processes.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, employment compliance requirements, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Basic understanding of equity-related tax and compliance considerations relevant to ESOP administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and HR reporting tools, with strong data accuracy.
  • Experience coordinating across managers, employees, payroll, and vendors to keep defined processes on schedule.
  • Communication skills sufficient to guide managers and employees on routine process and policy questions.
  • High attention to detail, process discipline, and sound judgment on when to escalate.
  • Exposure to technology, fintech, or financial services environments is advantageous.
