Duties and Responsibilities: 

General Responsibilities 

  • Frequently follow up internally to ensure progress and alignment & update dates 

  • Support Project Director in administrative duties , with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment 

  • Be part of project hand over meetings & Kick off meetings  

  • Ensure quality in all carried out work 

 

Project Planning 

  • Supporting the Project deliverables & documentation control 

  • Support projects progresses follow up – Maintain project plan & dates 

  • Participate in Internal project meetings 

  • Follow up on deadlines 

  • Supporting the application of work permits for expats 

  • Supporting claim management and insurance claims 

 

Project Communications 

  • Support the members in Project Management Office 

  • Support the Project management during execution of projects 

  • Be an active part of project team activities 

  • Supporting onshore transport and site logistics (e.g. receiving of goods, storage at site, LMS) 

  • Ensure project documentation is handled/stored as per policy 

  • Send hard copy print and digital version to customer as pr. Contract 

  • Any other ad hoc tasks and / or assignment as may be given from time to time 

Qualifications

    • Good command of English (both spoken and written) and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Capable of multi-tasking and seeing assigned tasks through to completion.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Proficient in MS Office, office management systems and procedures
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Project Management office
    • High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in business, engineering or related field 

       

    • Results-oriented with a positive outlook 

       

    • Comfortable in a dynamic and international environment 

       

    • Self-driven 

       

    • Internal and External customer oriented 

    • A team player who recognizes the importance of maintaining positive and productive relationships with clients, suppliers, co-workers, and management. 

    • Change Management skills 

       

    • Prior experience with construction contracting is helpful but not a requirement 

       

    • Tactful and discreet in dealing with confidential information. 

       

    • Able to perform under pressure and to meet deadlines.
