Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Represent the client in supervising and monitoring construction activities.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and relevant authority regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and verify the quality and progress of works.
Review method statements, shop drawings, material submissions and other technical documents.
Monitor contractors’ work schedules and highlight delays, defects or non-compliance.
Coordinate with the client, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities to resolve site and technical issues.
Witness inspections and testing, and maintain proper site records, reports and documentation.
Monitor rectification works and ensure outstanding items are properly closed out.
Attend site, technical, progress and coordination meetings.
Support testing, commissioning, completion inspections and project handover.
Requirements
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
Registered as a Resident Engineer
Candidate must be fit for work as daily site walks and site supervision is a must
Relevant experience in supervising civil, structural or infrastructure works.
Familiar with Singapore construction practices, authority requirements and relevant codes and standards.
5.5-day work week
