Ridge Property Management Hiring! Full Time Handyman - Setia Alam - in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 2,300 - Ricebowl

Handymen perform various maintenance and repair activities for buildings, grounds and other facilities. They repair and renovate structures and components, fences, gates and roofs, assemble furniture and perform plumbing and electrical activities. They check heating and ventilation systems, air quality and humidity in the building.

Key Responsibilities

• Job Description:
• - Technician to be responsible in all civil, mechanical and electrical works
• - Attend to complaints from owners/ tenants.
• - Monitor and supervise contractors on any maintenance /service work
• - Daily routine inspection on building facilities equipment
• - Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance issues.
• - Assist in building maintenance and facility management.
• - Check the level of water and make sure water tank levels are sufficient.
• - Visual inspection of all switchboards to ensure all cable connections are safe and securely connected.
• - Ensure all electrical equipment, appliances and fittings are in good condition.
• - Supervise maintenance activities that include corrective and preventive maintenance operations, repair, upgrading and improvement works.
• - Ensure routine checking and spot checks are carried out to all the units under renovation to prevent any illegal/ unauthorised works.
• - Assist in daily operations and ensure technicians/ contractors complete jobs promptly and efficiently.
• - Perform ad-hoc duties whenever assigned by the Supervisor/Superior
• - Any other job functions that may be assigned by the Management.
• Job Requirements
• - Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma/ PW/ AO/ A1 or related discipline
• - At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• - Good skills in handling maintenance and repairs of building facilities
• - Electrical and electronic skills / experiences will be an added advantage
• - Able to respond to emergency calls as and when required, including public holidays

Additional Skills

• Communication with MC/JMB and residence
• Experience in managing contractors and vendors.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Working Hours

· Regular Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM;
Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

· Ad-Hoc and Emergency Work: Available for on-call work outside of regular working hours as needed to address emergencies or urgent issues.
