OCS Hiring! Full Time ELV Engineer in Johor - Ricebowl

In this role, the successful applicant will function as part of the on-site team to ensure timely and quality deliverables of services rendered by OCS to its Client. The successful applicant will function as part of the ELV team and the focal point accountable for ELV systems, responsibilities shall cover CCTV system, Access Card System, Fire Detection & Alarm system, PA system, BMS and BAS.

1) Documentation: Preparation of detailed work method statements and/or maintenance checklists. Track work progress and undertake reporting duties as necessary

2) Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage execution of PPM works by DLP vendor or by vendor appointed by OCS

3) Collaboration: Work with other team members on delivery of primary priorities on the ELV systems, such as, CCTV, Access card system, Fire detection& Alarm system, PA system , BMS and BAS.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

1) Develop work method statements and checklists as necessary to facilitate field maintenance works. Collaborate with HSE Executive to develop Risk Assessment (RA)

2) Develop and/or review Method of Procedure (MOPs) document for equipment and/or systems for which PPM or RM is to be executed and incident response and troubleshooting. This will require close collaboration with both internal team members and with Client representative(s)

3) Undertake activities ELV systems including and not limited to Site co-ordination between Customer, Vendor, and Office team, Field devices (sensors, actuators, meters) Testing / Commissioning, Troubleshooting and Calibration, Testing / Commissioning of DDC panels, etc.

4) Collaborate closely with internal team members to ensure internal (OCS) and external (Client) documentation processes are adhered to at all times, In particular, this will require close collaboration with the CMMS Engineer and Admin Executive of OCS at site

5) Actively participate in any shutdown and/or major activity that may only be allowed to take place on weekends or on Public Holidays

6) Prepare daily/ weekly updates and monthly report summaries as necessary. This will require daily site walks and verification (refer point no. 5 above) as part of the preparation process.

7) Regularly monitor and track work progress and attend to minor issues on an as-need basis. Ensure all service reports are in order, and prepare recommendations as required based on findings from PPM activities

8) Replace defective components within contractual scope, and conduct post-repair testing and system restoration verification.

9) Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and incident reporting, implement temporary mitigation measures where necessary.

10) Escalate unresolved issues in accordance with escalation procedures.

Qualification Requirement

The individual whom we seek should possess the following:

1) Degree in any Engineering / Science / Facilities Management or other technical field of study

2) Possesses at least 3 years of O&M experience in a similar line of work, or 2 years in a ELV Engineer role.

3) Highly familiar with O&M related MEPF system jargons (e.g., ACMV, CDU, CRAC, CRAH, CT, TX, etc) and units of measurement (e.g., PPM, PSI, etc) and BMS logic terminology (PLC, DDC, DI, DO, AO, AI, etc)

4) Self-driven, innovative and independently drive assigned tasks to satisfactory completion in an output-based environment.

5) Willing to be on standby and respond outside of office hours.
