Modular Scale Hiring! Full Time Design Drafter in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,400 - Ricebowl

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings and basic 3D models based on design briefs, specifications, and instructions provided by Interior Designers or Senior Drafters.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from designers, clients, project teams, and production requirements.
• Produce detailed drawings with accurate dimensions, material specifications, finishes, and basic joinery details in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of sample boards by coordinating material samples, finishes, colours, and related selections under the guidance of the design team.
• Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, functionality, and feasibility for fabrication and installation.
• Conduct site measurements and assist Senior Drafters or Designers with site verification when required.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on basic technical matters, including drawing details, material specifications, and product information.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings, revisions, material information, and related records for easy reference and traceability.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Design Manager or Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of relevant drafting experience in kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, or interior design projects (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings, cabinetry, joinery details, and materials.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
