Regional IT Governance & Standardisation
- Define, implement, and enforce standardised IT policies, frameworks, and operating procedures across all regional IT teams.
- Ensure consistent regional standards covering IT project delivery covering:
- Change and release management
- IT operations and support processes
- Security, risk, and compliance (operational scope)
- Act as the regional escalation point for IT process, governance, and quality issues.
IT Project & Change Management
- Own and oversee regional and cross-BU IT initiatives, excluding software development activities.
- Ensure structured execution of IT projects covering:
Planning → Execution → Change Management → Implementation → Post-Implementation Review
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain visibility of the regional IT project and change portfolio.
IT Operations & BU Support
- Provide oversight and support to Business Unit IT Support Operations when required, including escalation management.
- Ensure BU IT teams operate with: Clear support processes, Defined SLAs and escalation paths, Consistent service quality across regions
- Step in to support critical operational issues impacting business continuity.
Country Expansion & IT Readiness
- Own the Country Expansion IT Handbook, defining standard IT requirements for new market launches.
- Ensure the handbook is: Clearly documented, Practical and executable, Successfully adopted by local BU IT teams
- Work with local teams to ensure IT readiness for: New country launches, New outlets / offices, Infrastructure and system rollouts
Performance & Process Monitoring Across BUs
- Establish and monitor regional IT performance metrics across all Business Units.
- Track and report on: IT operational performance, Project delivery health, Process compliance and maturity
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
Stakeholder & BU Collaboration
- Partner closely with BU leadership teams to align IT execution with business priorities.
- Balance regional consistency with local operational realities.
- Serve as the key regional point of coordination between: Business Units, Regional IT governance, External vendors and partners
Vendor & Partner Management
- Oversee regional IT vendors and service providers.
- Ensure vendors comply with: Regional IT standards, Operational SLAs, Delivery and quality expectations
- Drive cost efficiency and service improvements across regions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations, governance, or enterprise IT leadership.
- Proven experience managing regional or multi-BU IT operations and projects.
- Strong background in IT operations and support, project & change management, and IT governance and standardisation.
- Experience supporting multi-country operations and business expansion is highly preferred.
