Job Descriptions:
Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, providing menus, and explaining daily specials. Ensuring that customers feel welcomed and attended to throughout their dining experience.
Order Taking: Accurately taking food and beverage orders from customers and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serving Food and Drinks: Delivering meals and beverages to customers' tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Table Maintenance: Assisting in keeping tables clean and organised, including clearing away used dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring that utensils and condiments are stocked.
Menu Knowledge: Familiarising oneself with the restaurant’s menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
Handling Payments: Processing customer payments, including cash and credit transactions, and providing receipts. Ensuring accurate billing and handling any discrepancies.
Communication: Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service, relaying special requests or dietary restrictions, and addressing any customer concerns promptly.
Assisting in Cleanliness: Maintaining overall cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning tables, and organising service areas.
Adhering to Safety Protocols: Following health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness, including the proper handling of food and drinks.
Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team, supporting fellow crew members during busy shifts, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Upselling: Encouraging customers to try additional menu items, appetisers, desserts, or drinks to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
Job Requirements:
Non-executive specialised in F&B services or equivalent.
No experience needed; training will be provided.
Ability to stand for long hours and work in fast-paced environments.
Good communication skills; reliable and punctual.
Enthusiastic and keen to learn.
Good attitude.
Able to create a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Full of energy and spirit.
Able to work on weekends and public holidays; working hours may vary according to opening hours.
