Role Description The HR Manager at LOKi will lead and manage the full spectrum of human resources functions in a fast-paced creative agency environment. This full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur includes overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes. The HR Manager will develop and implement HR policies, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations. This role will also drive employee engagement initiatives, support learning and development programs, manage conflict resolution, and advise leadership on organizational culture and people-related strategies. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with department heads to align HR practices with business goals and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices in workplace policies.
  • Skills in HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development to support business growth in a creative or agency setting.
  • Ability to design and implement employee engagement, wellbeing, and learning and development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems and basic data analysis to inform HR decisions and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; professional HR certification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role, ideally within creative, digital, or professional services organizations.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast-moving environment.
