Job description:

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Lorry Driver to join our pet store logistics team. You will be responsible for delivering pet food, litter, cages, and accessories to our retail outlets, customers, and wholesale partners in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Lorry Driver:

• Deliver pet products (including heavy goods) to various locations according to schedule.
• Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of goods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company lorry.
• Verify delivery orders and obtain proper documentation (e.g., delivery notes, customer signatures).
• Report any delays, accidents, or vehicle issues immediately.
• Provide polite and friendly customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with basic warehouse or stock tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Assistant :

• Receive incoming stocks and check against delivery orders/invoices.
• Organize and arrange stocks on racks or pallets by category and FIFO method.
• Pick and pack stocks accurately for daily deliveries.
• Ensure proper stock handling to prevent damage (especially for pet food and fragile items).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse area.
• Perform regular stock counts and assist with inventory checks.
• Support lorry drivers during loading and unloading.
• Report stock discrepancies, damages, or low stock levels to supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid GDL license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of lorry driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy pet food bags or stock (up to 25kg).
• Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
• Able to work independently, responsibly, and with discipline.
• Friendly attitude, punctual, and customer-oriented.
• Basic reading and understanding of delivery documents.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia or simple English.
