Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a
Mechanical Technician / Engineer
to join our team and support the maintenance and servicing of automated machinery and equipment at customer sites.
This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who enjoys working with machines, troubleshooting mechanical issues and learning new equipment.
Training will be provided
, so candidates with the right attitude and basic mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine
maintenance, servicing and inspection
of machines and equipment at customer sites. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Assist with
replacement of mechanical parts and components
, including motors, belts, rollers, sensors and other machine parts.
Assist engineers and senior technicians with
troubleshooting and rectification
of machine issues.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established procedures.
Support machine installation, testing, calibration and commissioning when required.
Respond to customer site issues and provide timely technical support.
Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, parts replaced and service work performed.
Follow workplace safety procedures and customer site requirements.
Work closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure machines remain operational and reliable.
Contract position with potential conversion to a full-time role
for suitable candidates who enjoy the work and perform well.
