We're Hiring: Purchasing Executive

We're looking for a responsible, detail-oriented Procurement / Purchasing & Accounts Admin Executive to support our interior fit-out and construction projects. This role combines purchasing coordination, supplier management, and accounts data administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites

- Liaise with suppliers, site teams and project personnel on material requirements, pricing and delivery schedules

- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier lists, quotations and delivery documents

- Monitor purchase costs and assist with budget and cost-control reporting

- Verify invoices, delivery orders, purchase orders and supporting documents before payment

- Assist with accounts payable, payment vouchers, petty cash and filing of financial documents

- Follow up with suppliers on invoices, statements of account, credit terms and payments

- Support monthly account closing, reconciliation and other administrative duties

- Maintain organised documentation for audit, project and management reference

Requirements

- Experience in purchasing, procurement, accounts administration or construction-related administration is preferred

- Familiarity with interior fit-out materials, suppliers and construction purchasing processes is an advantage

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; accounting software experience is a plus

- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and document-management skills

- Good communication, negotiation and follow-up skills

- Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work well across teams

- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)

- Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage for communicating with suppliers or subcontractors
