Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the freight forwarding and logistics sector to expand market reach
Enhance the company’s market position for marine parts and marine parts warehousing services through targeted sales strategies
Prepare and negotiate freight rates, quotations, and service proposals to secure customer contracts
Coordinate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate fluctuations to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management through effective sales planning and execution
Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to inform management decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
At least 10 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
Strong understanding of air, sea, and/or land freight products and services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Self-motivation and a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
