Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized and small-group lessons tailored to students’ specific learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or equivalent learning plans
• Adapt teaching methods, materials, and assessments to accommodate different abilities and learning styles
• Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, counselors, and other educators to support student development
• Manage classroom behavior using positive and effective strategies
• Support students’ social, emotional, and life skills development
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required

Requirements:

• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Degree or certification in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays)
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices
• Ability to cater to individual student needs with patience and empathy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a special education or inclusive classroom setting
• Training in behavior management, intervention strategies, or therapy-based approaches
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools
