Job Title: Backend C++ Developer — Sales & Trading Technology

Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Location: Singapore (Hybrid — 3 Days On-Site / 2 Days Remote)

Salary: SGD 6,000 – SGD 7,000 per month

About the Role

Talent Source Global is seeking a skilled Backend C++ Developer to join the Sales & Trading Technology team for a leading global investment bank in Singapore. This is a 12-month renewable contract role supporting high-performance, critical systems built on a modern stack spanning C++, .NET, Kafka, KDB+, and Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend C++ components supporting sales and trading applications.
  • Work across the broader technology ecosystem, including .NET services, Kafka messaging pipelines, KDB+ data stores, and Python tooling.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across trading systems with a strong focus on memory optimization and low latency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, trading desks, business stakeholders, and global engineering groups to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle—from design and coding through automated testing and production support.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • C++ Experience: 3+ years of strong, hands-on professional C++ development experience.
  • Problem Solving: Proven analytical and logical thinking skills for troubleshooting performance-critical systems.
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible/authorized to work in Singapore.
  • Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated team player with strong technical initiative.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience or familiarity with event streaming (Apache Kafka), high-frequency data stores (KDB+), or Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML tools and developer workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Arrangement & Contract Terms

  • Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).
  • Contract: Initial 12-month contract, renewable based on performance and project demands (with potential client conversion opportunities).

Pay: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Singapore
