Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, responsible and customer-oriented Front Desk / Restaurant Receptionist to join our Japanese restaurant team.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers warmly upon arrival
- Assist customers with table arrangements and seating
- Handle customer reservations and enquiries
- Answer incoming calls and WhatsApp enquiries professionally
- Manage the waiting list and table allocation
- Provide customers with information about the restaurant, menu and promotions
- Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer requests and assist in resolving basic customer concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming appearance at the front desk area
- Perform other duties related to restaurant operations as assigned
Requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia
- Basic English communication skills
- Friendly, polite and presentable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, punctual and willing to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience in front desk, customer service or F&B is an advantage
- Fresh graduates and candidates without experience are welcome to apply
