KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

- Assist with feeding and hydration, including special diets as instructed by nursing or medical staff.

- Monitor residents' general condition and wellbeing, and promptly report any changes to the Senior Staff Nurse Head or duty nurse.

- Support residents with mobility aids, wheelchair transfers, and fall-prevention practices.

- Remind and assist residents with medication as directed and supervised by nursing staff.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including bed-making and light housekeeping related to resident care.

- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to residents throughout the day.

- Accompany residents to meals, therapy sessions, activities, or medical appointments as needed.

- Maintain accurate daily care records and communicate professionally with the care team and residents' families.

- Respond calmly and promptly to emergencies, escalating to nursing or medical staff immediately.
