• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related equipment problems.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and restore equipment to normal operating condition with minimum downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential machine abnormalities before major breakdowns occur.
• Carry out machine repair, adjustment, replacement, and calibration of components where required.
• Assist Engineers in equipment troubleshooting, modification, improvement, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan and checklist.
• Conduct regular inspection of motors, sensors, cylinders, conveyors, pumps, electrical components, and other machine parts.
• Support the installation, relocation, modification, and upgrading of production equipment.
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and according to company SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements when performing maintenance activities.
• Record maintenance activities, breakdown information, spare parts usage, and machine downtime accurately.
• Analyse recurring equipment problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain adequate stock and proper control of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Utility, and other departments to resolve equipment and production issues.
• Support machine improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the maintenance workshop and production area.
• Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored after use.
• Provide proper shift handover and communicate outstanding maintenance issues to the incoming technician/team.
• Participate in emergency breakdown response and support production during critical equipment issues.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, Engineer, or Management.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,248.51 per month
