Job Summary
Oversee and optimize warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient inventory management, timely delivery, and compliance with safety standards in a dynamic biotech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch to ensure smooth workflow and accuracy
Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers and prepare all necessary documentation to support timely manufacturing processes
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimize logistics performance
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to maintain data accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and ensure safety compliance
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within warehouse and logistics functions
Liaise with external logistics partners and transport providers to arrange shipments and resolve delivery or transport issues promptly
Prepare and analyze operational reports including key performance indicators (KPIs), cost analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of all warehouse and distribution activities for traceability and audit purposes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or operations within manufacturing or distribution sectors
Proven expertise in inventory management systems and warehouse management software to optimize stock control
Strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, and distribution best practices
Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis to support operational reporting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to warehouse operations
Problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations are advantageous
