JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Beyond Renovation is looking for a responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee residential renovation and construction works.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, supervising workers and subcontractors, monitoring workmanship and progress, arranging materials, and ensuring projects are completed according to schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, able to solve site issues independently, and comfortable communicating with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, project teams, and clients when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate daily renovation and construction activities on site.

* Monitor workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities.

* Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, instructions, and required workmanship standards.

* Monitor project progress and ensure works follow the agreed project schedule.

* Coordinate different trades and work sequences to minimize delays.

* Check the quality of completed works and arrange rectification where necessary.

* Monitor site materials, deliveries, usage, and requirements.

* Inform the project/management team of upcoming material and manpower requirements.

* Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and safety.

* Identify site problems early and propose practical solutions.

* Provide regular site progress updates, including photos and reports where required.

* Coordinate site inspections and handover/defect rectification works.

* Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.

* Travel between project sites when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma or equivalent. Candidates with qualifications related to construction, building, civil engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, or similar fields will have an advantage.

* Previous experience in residential renovation, interior fit-out, construction, or site supervision is preferred.

* Candidates with strong practical site experience will also be considered.

* Able to understand basic construction drawings and site measurements.

* Good understanding of renovation/construction work sequences and workmanship.

* Able to coordinate workers and subcontractors effectively.

* Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and willing to take ownership of assigned projects.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Basic ability to use WhatsApp, take site photos, prepare simple reports, and communicate project progress.

* Valid driving licence preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,000 per month

Final salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and capabilities.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
