Dhaya Maju LTAT Sdn Bhd (KVDT2 Project Office) - Taman Kajang Sentral, 43000 Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Job Purpose:

To organize and execute the implementation of the Safety & Health Management System for the KVDT Project in complying with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and in accordance with ISO 45001 Management System or others

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Executing the development, generation and maintenance of the KVDT Project Safety & Health documentation;
• Monitoring the implementation of ISO 45001 at KVDT project and advice on improvement action;
• Collect and compile minutes of Safety & Health Meetings;
• Coordinate and arrange ISO 45001 Awareness Training & Orientation program;
• Assist Safety Section Heads in developing OSH Awareness Training modules;
• Assist Safety Section Head in preparation and distributions of Monthly Project Safety and Health Reports;
• Assist and ensuring the implementation of ISO 45001 related inspection & audit program;
• Preparation of Safety and Health audit and inspection checklist;
• Assisting Safety Manager and Safety Section Heads in executing audit and inspection in compliance with schedule;
• Monitor the recommendation for improvement and prevention of recurrence;
• Assist Safety Manager in development and implementation of Safety Personnel Development Program/Trainings requirement;
• Review and advise Safety Manager & Safety Section Heads on ISO 45001 related matters;
• Any other duties (related to OSH) that Safety Section Heads or the Management might assign that from time to time.
• To comply & adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety and Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the company.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years working experience in safety management
• Experience in railway track/or construction works shall be an advantage

Educations/Qualifications:

Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH); or related fields.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI):

• Registers and records to be updated monthly.
• Liaison person for monitoring and implementation of ISO 45001 for Safety Department

Functional Relationships:

Internal : All staff

External : Consultants, Sub-Contractors and others (as required / approved by Head of Department or KVDT Management)

Specific Skills/Abilities:

• ISO 45001 Occupational Safety & Health Management System/MS1722
• Computer literate

Personal Qualities:

• Able to work independently
• Communicate effectively in Bahasa and English
• Able to write reports and liaise with others in OSH matters
• Innovative, Analytical, Focus

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
