Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems

• Oversee and manage IT operations to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with industry standards

• Lead and supervise the IT team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery

• Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives and support long-term organisational growth

• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimise costs without compromising quality

• Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection protocols are in place and regularly updated

• Troubleshoot complex IT issues and oversee their resolution to minimise downtime and business disruption

• Conduct regular system upgrades, maintenance, and backups to ensure data integrity and system reliability

• Provide technical support and training to staff to promote effective use of IT systems and applications

• Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, system availability, and security incidents

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards applicable to information technology management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT management experience in a similar operational environment

• Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and system administration

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and IT compliance requirements

• Experience with IT service management frameworks and best practices (such as ITIL)

• Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets and make strategic procurement decisions

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking

• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is desirable
