Polymeric Technology Hiring! Full Time Chemist in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,000 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Section Manager.
• Product application development (coating development) or product development (polymer synthesis).

Polymer Innovation

• Conduct lab scale polymer synthesis in proper manner and preparing lab activity report.
• Supervise and assign daily job duties to assistant chemist and lab technician.
• Product development (Polymer Synthesis) including fine turning the synthesis process control and final product specification target.
• Responsible on new product upscaling from pilot to production stage.
• Manage laboratory administrative requirement including safety and 5S target.
• Manage laboratory instrumental/tools/machineries/chemical in proper maintenance and storage conditions.
• Carry out trouble shooting in production and follow up corrective and preventive action.
• Responsible to handle customers complaints and productions rejects postmortem analysis work.
• Responsible for quality assurance and quality control routine task.
• Provide on-going technical support to QC section or Production Department upon technical request in various matters.
• Responsible on any ad hoc assignment, task as requested by superior.

Coating Development

• Conduct coating development project base on innovation, market/sales/customer’s demand and preparing lab report.
• Product application development and performance evaluation.
• Technical support for customer request or complaint issue.
• Supervise and assign daily job duties to lab technician.
• Manage laboratory administrative requirement including safety and 5S target.
• Manage laboratory instrumental/tools/machineries/chemical in proper maintenance and storage conditions.
• Responsible for quality assurance and quality control routine task.
• Provide on-going technical support to QC section or Production Department upon technical request in various matters.
• Responsible on any ad hoc assignment, task as requested by superior.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Chemistry (polymer science) or equivalent.
• M.Sc or PhD will be added advantage.
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Panglima Garang – Klang.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Computer literate.
• Full-Time positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
