Responsibilities
Overseeing the production process to ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality
Supervising and motivating a team of workers, which includes hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution
Inspecting equipment and machinery regularly to ensure they are in good working order and arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed
Developing and implementing production schedules and deadlines
Maintaining safety standards and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
Working with other team leaders and managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs
Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
