About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Helpdesk / IT Support Executive to manage the company's day-to-day IT operations. The role will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, managing hardware and software assets, enforcing IT policies, and ensuring a secure and efficient technology environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and office equipment.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues.
Set up and configure computers, user accounts, software applications, and peripherals.
Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees, including IT account provisioning and equipment allocation.
Maintain inventory of IT assets, including laptops, monitors, mobile phones, software licenses, and accessories.
Track asset issuance, returns, repairs, warranties, and replacement schedules.
Manage software installation, updates, patching, and license compliance.
Support Microsoft 365, email systems, Teams, shared drives, and collaboration tools.
Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and system integrators.
Perform data backup, recovery, and basic cybersecurity checks.
Monitor and maintain office network, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and IT infrastructure.
Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and security procedures.
Maintain IT documentation, user guides, and knowledge base materials.
Support IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 2-5 years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and end-user support.
Experience managing IT assets, software licenses, and user access controls.
Familiarity with IT security, endpoint management, and backup solutions.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and Azure Active Directory.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent are advantageous.
