Job Description

Responsibilities

To support the Country Directors in driving business development activities across Southeast Asia. The role will assist with market research, competitor analysis, proposal preparation, business development reporting, internal coordination, and hands-on client engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, detail-oriented and confident engaging and building rapport with new people, with the motivation to contribute to new ventures within an agile and collaborative team environment.


Key Duties

  1. Conduct market, sector, client, and competitor research.
  2. Assist in preparing bid proposals, capability statements, presentations, and other client-facing materials in collaboration with project team.
  3. Support the identification, tracking, and follow-up of new business opportunities, including maintaining accurate records of prospects, client contacts, and opportunity pipelines.
  4. Prepare monthly business development reports, KPI updates, market intelligence summaries, and management dashboards.
  5. Support the promotion of company profiles, project wins, news, thought leadership, and market updates across appropriate social media and communication channels.
  6. Assist with internal communications and work closely with the Marketing team
  7. Support the administration of the business development budget, including tracking costs, approvals, and related documentation.
  8. Support client-facing business development activities, including attending meetings, networking functions and other relevant events.
  9. Assist in arranging and attending client meetings, relationship-building sessions and events.


Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Construction, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in business development, marketing or sales support, preferably within a consultancy, project management, cost management.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience, or AI-enabled productivity tools would be an advantage.
  5. Good analytical, organizational, and coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and agile team environment.
