Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a cybersecurity professional to support security operations, cyber defence, security engineering and product security.

The role will work across security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security and security automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cybersecurity operations, including security reporting, dashboards, vulnerability management and compliance activities.
  • Review and validate security vulnerabilities and support remediation activities.
  • Assist with incident response, alert investigation, threat hunting and security monitoring.
  • Develop and improve security playbooks, detection rules and response procedures.
  • Support IAM reviews and security controls based on least privilege and zero trust principles.
  • Apply security standards across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
  • Support threat modelling and identify security requirements for systems and applications.
  • Develop security-related POCs, automation and technical solutions using scripting and security tools.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of new cybersecurity technologies and tools.
  • Work with internal teams and stakeholders to improve security, processes and operational efficiency.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, security architecture and threat modelling.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, Kubernetes and CI/CD security.
  • Experience or exposure to SIEM, EDR and cloud security monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of incident response, threat detection and threat hunting.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), secrets management and Zero Trust.
  • Scripting or automation skills using Python, Bash or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with security testing and code/cloud security tools.
  • Exposure to AI coding assistants or agentic AI workflows is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage changing priorities and know when to escalate issues.

Education & Experience

  • Relevant cybersecurity experience is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong technical fundamentals and demonstrated potential are also encouraged to apply.

Certifications

Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications will be an advantage.
