Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Hiring! Full Time MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,000 - Ricebowl

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate production machines and equipment according to SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Set up, adjust, monitor, and perform machine changeovers when required.
• Monitor production processes and identify abnormalities or deviations.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform in-process inspection and basic quality checks according to established standards.
• Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.
• Record production output, machine status, downtime, defects, and other required production data.
• Maintain 5S, safety, PPE, and ESD requirements.
• Support productivity, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with new product introduction, process trials, machine trials, and engineering activities.
• Support the training of new operators or technicians.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Certificate / SKM in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating production machinery or automated equipment will be an advantage.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand SOPs, Work Instructions, and basic technical documents.
• Basic computer skills and ability to record production data accurately.
• Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
