Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities across onshore fabrication and offshore installation works.

The role will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, international standards, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
• Develop, review, and manage Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and related documentation.
• Manage and coordinate QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure inspections and tests are performed in accordance with approved ITPs, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Oversee quality requirements relating to welding, NDT, piping, structural, mechanical, and coating works.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Act as the key quality interface with clients and relevant project stakeholders.
• Ensure material certification, inspection records, traceability, and quality documentation are properly maintained.
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage project quality records, reports, dossiers, and documentation required for project handover.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including API, ASME, AWS, ISO, NACE, and DNV.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project QA/QC team and promote continuous improvement and quality awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry, with relevant experience in a senior or managerial QA/QC role.
• Strong experience in onshore fabrication and/or offshore installation projects.
• Experience managing QA/QC activities throughout the EPC/EPIC project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards, including API, ASME, AWS, ISO, NACE, and DNV.
• Good working knowledge of welding, NDT, piping, structural, mechanical, and coating works.
• Strong experience with Project Quality Plans, ITPs, NCRs, audits, inspection processes, and project quality documentation.
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor or relevant certifications preferred.
• CSWIP / AWS / NACE or other relevant professional certification would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and support both onshore and offshore project requirements.

Pay: $7,000.00 - $10,500.00 per month
