About the Role

We are looking for a Purchaser to join our manufacturing team and support the smooth supply of materials and components for production. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working with suppliers and different departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily purchasing activities, including quotation, PO issuance, and supplier follow-up.
• Source materials and compare suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Finance on material requirements.
• Follow up on urgent orders, delays, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update the ERP system.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Support cost-saving and supplier improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
