Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding works using appropriate welding methods and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
Prepare, cut, fit, and assemble metal components before welding.
Inspect welded joints and finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and related equipment safely.
Carry out repair and maintenance welding as required.
Complete assigned welding tasks within the required time and quality standards.
Perform other duties related to welding and fabrication as assigned.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a Welder or in a similar welding/fabrication role.
Knowledge of welding processes.
Able to read and understand technical drawings and welding specifications.
Familiar with welding tools, equipment, and basic metal fabrication techniques.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Physically fit and able to work in a workshop, construction site, or industrial environment.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant welding certificates or qualifications are an advantage.
Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required.
