Nippon Express Hiring! Full Time MHE SAFETY TRAINING EXECUTIVE in Selangor - Ricebowl

Ensure all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators are properly trained, competent and safety-certified before operating equipment. The role combines hands-on training, operator assessment and floor supervision to strengthen safety standards and minimize MHE-related incidents across warehouse operations.

• Develop and deliver safety and operational training for forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and other MHE.

• Conduct theoretical assessments and practical driving evaluations.

• Certify operators and ensure only competent personnel are deployed to operate MHE.

• Ensure MHE training and certification comply with DOSH and applicable safety requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of operator licences, certifications, training and medical clearances.

• Monitor licence expiry and coordinate refresher and recertification training.

• Conduct regular floor observations and spot checks to identify and correct unsafe operator behaviour.

• Support investigation of MHE-related incidents, near misses and property damage.

• Work with HSE and Operations teams to strengthen MHE risk controls and safe working practices.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in OSH, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline.

• 3–5 years' warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in MHE training or safety supervision.

• Certified MHE Trainer / Master Trainer from a recognized body or equipment manufacturer.

• Valid operator licences for relevant MHE, such as forklift and reach truck.

• NIOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse traffic management, MHE safety, load capacity and charging/fuelling safety.

• Confident trainer with strong communication and practical coaching skills.

• Proficient in MS Office; LMS experience is an advantage.
