Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Visualization Analyst to transform complex data into clear, meaningful, and actionable visual insights. The successful candidate will work with business and technical teams to analyse data, develop dashboards and reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role is suitable for candidates with an interest in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and visualisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and operational data from multiple sources.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
• Translate business requirements into clear and effective visual reporting solutions.
• Create charts, graphs, dashboards, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Clean, organise, and validate datasets before visualisation.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Maintain and update existing dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Monitor data quality and investigate inconsistencies or anomalies.
• Prepare regular performance reports and management presentations.
• Support the development of automated reporting and data visualisation processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, IT teams, and management.
• Document data sources, reporting processes, dashboard specifications, and business requirements.
• Recommend improvements to reporting processes and data presentation.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and visualisation tasks when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data visualisation.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or portfolio experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of data analysis and visualisation principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with at least one data visualisation platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present complex information in a simple and understandable manner.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating interactive Power BI or Tableau dashboards.
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data modelling and data preparation.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts and KPI reporting.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Knowledge of dashboard design and data storytelling.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile working environments is an advantage.
