Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Location: Georgetown Penang/ Simpang Ampat Penang

Key Responsibilities:

· Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

· Interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets to support business objectives.

· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data-driven insights.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and provide data solutions.

· Conduct statistical analyses and predictive modeling to improve decision-making.

· Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality control processes.

· Utilize SQL, Python, R, Excel, and other tools to manipulate and extract data.

· Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report deviations with actionable insights.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

· Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.

· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets.

· Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into business-friendly reports.

· Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.

· Understanding of machine learning techniques is a bonus.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

· Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google BigQuery, or Azure.

· Prior experience in an industry-specific analytics role (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing).
