Responsibilities

HR Operations Manager

Location: Singapore
Department: Group Human Resources
Reports to: GHR Director

Be the engine behind an exceptional employee experience.

We are a world-class hospitality group with a portfolio of distinctive F&B concepts, ambitious growth plans, and a deep belief that great hospitality starts with great people.

We are looking for an HR Operations Manager who is equal parts people champion, operational powerhouse, and continuous-improvement thinker.

This is nota traditional HR administration role. You will play a pivotal role in building the people infrastructure that enables our teams to thrive; from how we reward and recognise our people, to how we manage payroll, develop policies, improve processes, and create an employee experience worthy of a world-class hospitality group.

If you love turning complexity into clarity, data into insight, and HR processes in to experiences that genuinely work for people, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As our HR Operations Manager, you will own and elevate the core HR operations agenda across the group, partnering closely with leadership, corporate HQ, and our restaurant teams.

You will ensure that our people policies, rewards, benefits, payroll, HR processes and employee engagement initiatives are fair, compliant, efficient, scalable and aligned with our culture.

You will also be a key driver of the evolution of our HR operating model as the group continues to grow.

What you’ll own

People Policies & HR Governance

  • Develop, review and continuously enhance HR policies, guidelines and frameworks across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure policies are practical, consistent and aligned with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Translate business and people priorities into clear, easy-to-use HR processes and guidelines.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure consistent application of policies across our diverse F&B operations.
  • Keep our HR governance framework robust while ensuring it remains fit for a fast-moving hospitality environment.

Compensation& Benefits

  • Lead the administration and continuous improvement of our compensation and benefits programmes.
  • Support salary reviews, annual compensation cycles, incentives and other reward initiatives.
  • Advise on compensation structures, benchmarking and workforce cost analysis.
  • Ensure our benefits offering remains competitive, relevant and aligned with our people strategy.
  • Develop meaningful reward and recognition initiatives that celebrate performance and reinforce our culture.

Payroll& HR Operations

  • Own the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality and compliance.
  • Oversee HR operations including employee records, contracts, leave, benefits administration and other core employee lifecycle processes.
  • Establish robust controls, systems, documentation and reporting to ensure operational excellence.
  • Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Help shape initiatives that make our people feel valued, connected and inspired.
  • Partner with our line managers and operational leaders to strengthen employee engagement across our group.
  • Support employee listening initiatives, engagement surveys, recognition programmes and action planning.
  • Turn employee feedback into practical improvements across policies, processes and the overall employee experience.
  • Champion a culture where our people feel heard, supported and empowered to do their best work.

Process Excellence & Transformation

  • Continuously challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve HR processes.
  • Lead projects that enhance efficiency, employee experience and scalability.
  • Review existing workflows and systems, eliminating unnecessary complexity and duplication.
  • Leverage technology, automation and data to modernise HR operations.
  • Build scalable processes that can support the group's continued growth without losing the human touch.

What We’re Looking For

You are an HR professional who understands that operational excellence and exceptional employee experience go hand in hand.

You bring a strong foundation in HR operations, but you're also curious, commercially minded and constantly looking for a better way of doing things.

You will ideally bring:

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR operations, C&B and payroll.
  • Experience managing HR operations in a fast-paced, multi-site, hospitality, retail, F&B or similar operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices, HR policies and statutory requirements.
  • Solid experience with payroll processes and HR systems.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits administration.
  • Experience driving HR process improvement, automation or transformation projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn HR data into meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with everyone from frontline teams to senior leadership.
  • A practical, hands-on approach. You are comfortable getting into the details when required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make HR policies and processes simple, clear and human.

Your Superpower

You don't see HR operations as paperwork.

You see systems as enablers, policies as culture in action, payroll as trust, rewards as recognition, and every HR process as an opportunity to improve someone's experience at work.

You are naturally curious. You ask “Why do we do it this way?”  and then work out how to make it better.

You are comfortable operating at both 30,000 feet and ground level: shaping frameworks with senior leaders one moment, then solving a payroll or employee experience issue with a restaurant team the next.

Most importantly, you care about getting the details right because you understand that, in hospitality, the employee experience ultimately becomes the guest experience.

Why Join Us?

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Shape the HR operating model of a growing, world-class hospitality group.
  • Work alongside passionate leaders and exceptional hospitality professionals.
  • Make a visible impact on the employee experience across multiple brands and venues.
  • Build scalable people practices as the organisation continues to evolve.
  • Lead meaningful projects across reward, engagement, technology and process transformation.
  • Be part of a culture that values excellence, creativity, ownership and genuine care for people.
